HISTORY OF THE RADENBERG COMPANY

THE BEGINNING - 1908


The family business was founded 112 years ago by Carl August Radenberg as an etching and engraving company at Mühlenstraße in Hilden.



1920 - 1940


The focal point of production was centred around inlays for high-quality products of the Solingen knife industry.

1946


The business was taken over by Charlotte Radenberg, the wife of the late Carl August Radenberg, and reopened after the war closure.



1958


Charlotte Radenberg expanded the business at Niedenstraße 13, Hilden and her son, Werner Radenberg, joined the management.

As of 1960


The business portfolio was expanded to include inlays for high-quality clocks and the furniture industry. In addition, the production of inlays for high-quality pianos, such as Steinway & Sons and Bösendorfer, began here.



1970s


Manufacture of nickel rollers for the wallpaper and textile printing industry. Our rollers enabled precise printing of elaborate wallpaper and textile patterns. Well-known customers from England and France profited from our high-quality production.

2003


The third generation joins the company management with Janine Liebert-Radenberg, the daughter of Werner and Ingrid Radenberg.



2008


The Radenberg company celebrates its 100th anniversary. The Düsseldorf Chamber of Industry and Commerce presents a certificate for the "100-YEAR ANNIVERSARY" on 18.02.2008.

2018


The Radenberg company launches the modernisation of the entire operation including the expansion of the product portfolio with online access.
